RUSSIA ALERT - ICC Issues Arrest Warrant for Putin War Crimes

Putin is a war criminal. And that means we just issued our hunting license for a big bad Russian bear. Today the International Criminal Court (the ICC) issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin. The court says he is responsible for war crimes, including the unlawful deportation of children from Ukraine to Russia. The ICC says the crimes were committed in Ukraine from February 2022 when Russia launched its full-scale invasion. The court said Putin was directly involved with these crimes, as well as he failed to stop others who deported children. Let’s talk about the International Criminal Court. The ICC is an intergovernmental organization and international tribunal seated in The Hague, Netherlands. It is the first and only permanent international court with jurisdiction to prosecute individuals for the international crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and the crime of aggression.
