The truth is...
Most Survival Food is Built on a Dangerous Flaw: Empty Calories
When disaster strikes, you need to be at your best. Hurricanes, earthquakes, fires, floods, and even supply chain shortages.
In a prolonged emergency, a diet of sugar and fillers can lead to fatigue, poor decision-making, and weakened immunity.
When your family's well-being is on the line, your food supply should be your greatest strength, not a hidden weakness.

Just add water! For hot meals add boiling water, stir, cover, wait a few minutes and then stir and cover again. After a few more minutes - dig in! For Milk and shakes, add water and enjoy.
Whatever the format, store them in a cool, dry place. #10 cans can be stacked on shelves, but you may find placing them in stackable totes is easier.
Everyone's needs are different, but as a general rule it's good to have at least 1 to 3 months of emergency food on hand for each member of your family, and enough water to prepare the food.
Unopened, #10 Cans have a shelf life of 25 years and Pantry Packs and singles are good for 15 years. Butter is good for 10 years regardless of packaging. Once opened, we recommend finishing the food within one year.
While extreme heat (cold is not a problem), would shorten the shelf life a little, there is not going to be anything that stands up to temperature shifts better than freeze dried food. These are intended to work well even when stored in cars.
