Competitor details from each brand's label, checked October 2026. Augason Farms' can is an egg mix (whole egg, nonfat milk, soybean oil, salt); its label counts 2 tablespoons as one egg. Costs per egg are estimates from list prices, which change.
Customers said these powdered eggs taste "incredibly delicious" and "like fresh eggs," with enhanced nutrition. Great for emergency prep with a 25-year shelf life. Most found them easy to prepare and perfect for scrambled eggs and omelets. Some noted challenges with baking use, and a few mentioned flavor/quality concerns.
Overall, I had a great first experience ordering with Nutrient Survival! I had a hiccup with my order but Rebecca in customer service went above and beyond to make things right. The vitamin eggs arrived in great condition and I am excited to open a can to give them a try, and store the others in case of an emergency.
Thanks for the kind words, Sean! We're thrilled that you had a good experience!
I was hesitant at first but I was pleasantly surprised. Simply mix with water and cook! I added a little salt and pepper and honestly there's not much of a difference between fresh eggs. Even my kid ate them with out any mention of something being different. These would be great for camping since there's no refrigeration needed or even in a pinch when you don't feel like running to the store. Once again another great product from Nutrient Survival.
A great, quick filler any time of the day
Hi Gary! Thanks for your support and positive feedback.
Awesome product.
I haven’t tried the eggs or milk yet! They were purchased solely to go along with my prepping item. I hope they’re as good as others say they are.
Hi Blanche, thanks for sharing! We hope you enjoy the eggs and milk when you try them. Let us know if you have any questions!
The cost of eggs in my area is expensive. So I did an experiment, I started reconstituting the eggs for different recipes. I'm writing this review to emphasize that it is a suitable item for most recipes...not all. Take 15 minutes or more for the water and powdered vitamin egg to mix. Place in a recipe. Works well!
Hi Sandra, thank you for sharing your experience! We're glad the powdered eggs are working well for your baking needs. Happy cooking!

It was time. I’d been wanting to try my Powdered Vitamin Eggs for a while now. Opened a tin last week and used the product to make ham and cheese omelets for dinner. Turned out really well. My wife’s a pretty fussy eater. I served her without telling her that I made the omelets from powdered eggs. She really enjoyed her meal and ate the entire thing. Great quality product.
Thanks for the kind words, Randal! We're so happy you and your wife enjoyed them!
Works great for omelets

As described
Thanks for the support!
I have not actually tried them, since this is all for Storage. But the price was fair, I wanted to try your place since I normally order From one of your competitors. The only reason I gave you four stars instead of five is the amazing amount of trouble I had with Delivery. First of all, it took three weeks for delivery, then only half my order came in. When I called, your staff was extremely friendly, and helpful, so they sent the other half out, but it still took three weeks for THAT to come.
By comparison, When I order from your competitor, it is usually at my doorstep in three days.
Still, even with that, I ordered some more from your company. Thank you.
Thanks for the kind words, Steve! My sincere apologies for the delivery delays. I left a long reply to your post on Facebook, but I appreciate your understanding with our supply issues last month.
Great Product!!! Awesome value and quality!
Thanks, Paul! We appreciate you!
The item came fast and was exactly what I ordered.

All looks good. Packing and shipping is great. Unfortunately I’ve not had a chance yet to try the sample packs. But I will . Everything else is emergency supplies.
Thanks, Barry! We hope you love them!
I got the discounted eggs with a free milk have not tried it yet but service and price was very right. Much longer shelflife by as much as 10 years to most brands I have gotten.
Thanks for the support, Harvey!
When I opened the container it smelled like burned eggs, I then cooked the eggs according to the directions and they tasted like burned eggs as well. If I could give this 0 stars I would.
Thanks for the review, Lindsey. That doesn't sound right... please email your order number and the expiration date listed on the can to support@nutrientsurvival.com so we an look into this.
I love the product. I'm a very well eater of eggs from me and my dog Ruby one everyday each. This is best to have with the powder and one egg and it stretches very well. 🙂
